INDIANAPOLIS (NBC) – Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump spoke at a rally in Indianapolis with Indiana Governor Steve Pence.
Gov. Pence is reported to be a front-runner in the race for Trump’s vice presidential pick. Indiana is a neighbor to both Michigan and Ohio, which are two swing states that could help Trump snatch the presidency in November.
However, Pence has caused a great deal of controversy with democrats and republicans. He signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which would allow businesses to refuse service to LGBT people. Pence then backed away from the law, angering conservatives.
Trump’s decision is expected to come by the end of the week.
