(CNN) – The social media app, snapchat, may have first gotten popular with its young teenage users, but a new survey says that more adults are also using it.
38% of mobile users between the ages of 25 to 34 have used snapchat at least once in May. Compare that to just 19% less than 2 years ago. There are also 5% more users over the age of 35.
Experts say the increase in adult users hasn’t made the app less popular with teens. Also, if the company’s $18-billion valuation has any say in the matter, it’s still very cool.
