Naturalization ceremony held at Northampton’s old courthouse

This year, more than 7,000 new U.S. citizens will be welcomed across the country between June 30 and July 4

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – 46 candidates for U.S. citizenship will take the oath of allegiance during a special naturalization ceremony in Northampton Monday.

U.S. Magistrate and Northampton native Katherine Robertson will preside over Monday’s ceremony. The ceremony will happen at the Northampton’s old courthouse at 11 Monday morning.

This year, more than 7,000 new U.S. citizens will be welcomed across the country between June 30 and July 4.
