Springfield Police: Robbery at Cumberland Farms

According to Springfield Police Captain Brian Keenan, the robber ran down Liberty Street after the robbery

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A store clerk was ordered to lie on the floor during a robbery in Springfield Friday morning.

It happened around 4 a.m at the Cumberland Farms at Carew and Armory Streets.

Springfield Police Captain Brian Keenan told 22News a masked man with a gun emptied the cash register and stole cigarettes as well.

According to Captain Keenan the robber was around 6 feet one and ran down Liberty Street after the robbery.
