LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Longmeadow Police are asking residents to help them identity two suspects who allegedly broke into a car on Thursday.
Lt. Robert Stocks told 22News Longmeadow Police received a report Thursday morning that a woman’s vehicle had been broken into while she was at the Field Club of Longmeadow, at 750 Wolf Swamp Rd. The victim reported the car had been entered between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
The alleged suspects went through the victim’s belongings, and left with cash and credit cards, Lt. Stocks said.
The detective unit confirmed that two of the stolen credit cards had been used at the Best Buy and Target on Elm Street in Enfield at approximately 11:00 a.m., Lt. Stocks said.
It was determined that a woman allegedly made purchases at both stores that totaled $4,000. These purchases included computers and prepaid gift cards. She was seen meeting up with a male accomplice after making the transactions, according to Lt. Stocks.
Security footage taken at the stores showed that the first suspect is a white woman between 20 and 30 years old. She was seen wearing a white and black shirt, a white Nike hat, white shorts, black sneakers, and sun glasses, said Lt. Stocks.
The second suspect is a white male also between 20 and 30 years old. He was wearing a black tee-shirt, black shorts, black fanny pack, black hat, black sneakers, and white wireless headphones, according to Lt. Stocks.
