First Annual Alysha’s Walk for Life for Ovarian Cancer

CHICOPEE, MA. (Mass Appeal) – When someone passes from the terrible disease of cancer, it is hard to not let cancer define their life. Alysha, a 24 year old who lost her battle to ovarian cancer in September, has an event in her name to remember and celebrate her life. Alysha’s mother Jeanine and cousin Angie visited Mass Appeal to talk about the First Annual Alysha’s Walk for Life for Ovarian Cancer.

Name of Event: The First Annual Alysha’s Walk For Life For Ovarian Cancer

Dates and Times: Saturday July 9th from 1-5 at Westfield High School 177 Montgomery Rd. Westfield Mass. 01085.

About the Event: It is a 5K Run, Walk, Crawl event. There will be over 30+vendors. They have a goal of 100 raffle prizes which they have met and exceeded. It is a free event and its a great family fun event. We would like to honor all those fighting the battle and to those who have lost their battle. We want people to be aware of this cancer.It is the number 5 disease that takes women’s lives.
