Clinton And Trump Trade Jabs
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton trade jabs on the campaign trail.

(NBC News) – Later this morning we expect to hear Donald Trump strike back at Hillary Clinton.

She says he’s unfit to manage the economy. “Debt for this country is a disaster and Obama has piled it on and she’s been there watching,” said Donald Trump, (R) Presidential Candidate.

That’s Donald Trump on Instagram, previewing his New York speech later this morning —

His response to Hillary Clinton’s point-by-point takedown.

She claims trump’s policies would ruin the economy, send the u-s back into recession, and destroy small businesses and working families. “He’s written a lot of books about business. They all seem to end at chapter 11. We can’t let him bankrupt America like we are one of his failed casinos,” said Clinton.

Clinton meets with House Democrats this morning.

She’s tied with – or leading – trump in three battleground states.

Trump has a new line of attack, questioning her faith. “She’s been in the public eye for years and years and yet there’s no – there’s nothing out there. There’s just nothing out there,” said Trump.

Trump has named a new advisory board to court evangelicals. “We don’t necessarily even think that there is someone in the White House that is for us, but we don’t want someone in the White House that is against us,” said Pastor Keith Kraft, Elevate Life Church.

But first, Trump needs money, and is holding a fundraiser this morning.

He has just over one million dollars on hand. Clinton has $42 million.

Trump’s also shoring up his thin campaign staff. He’s named four senior aides, including a new digital director and veteran operative to head up his political team.
