Water ban could take effect in Southwick

The restrictions wouldn't go in effect until next summer

SOUTHWICK, Mass. (WWLP) – If you live in the Town of Southwick you might have to start limiting your water use.

Southwick officials announced there could be water restrictions next year that would limit how much water the town can draw from its wells.

The town officials said this is not a done deal, it’s just a proposal right now. It comes after the state announced it’s working to put water conservation measures in place.

If the restrictions pass, they wouldn’t go in effect until next summer.
