Jury selection started in the Amanda Plasse murder trial

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – On Wednesday, jury selection started in the Amanda Plasse murder trial, which is set to begin in the fall.

Dennis Rosa-Roman is accused of stabbing Amanda Plasse to death inside her Chicopee apartment in 2011. He has been held without bail since his arrest in November of 2013.

Plasse’s family sued the City of Chicopee and the police department after 2 officers took pictures of her body and sent them to others. That lawsuit was settled for $110,000.
