Jay’s Bed and Breakfast celebrates grand opening in Holyoke

Guests can stay in 1 of 5 rooms that range from $125 to $150 a night

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) –  Jay’s Bed and Breakfast had its grand opening in Holyoke on Friday. Located in the historic Moriarty Mansion, the new bed and breakfast is owned by Jesus “Jay” Candelario.

The house was built in 1880 and recently underwent an expensive restoration.

Candelario said, “I took a home that was almost demolished and poured between $300,000 and almost $400,000 into restoring it, and it’s the first official grand opening of a bed and breakfast in the City of Holyoke.”

Guests can stay in 1 of 5 rooms that range from $125 to $150 a night. Candelario plans on expanding his business by catering and hosting events at the mansion.
