EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – The paving projects inconveniencing East Longmeadow commuters this month, are expected to pay dividends during next winter’s pothole season.
East Longmeadow DPW director Robert Peirent told 22News that it’s been years since Porter Road has been paved.
The 3,200 feet of the heavily traveled Porter Road stretching from Allen Street to the Springfield line has a history of being plagued by potholes.
Pierent said they expect to complete the paving next week. It’s designed to provide pothole protection for years to come.
