South Hadley residents want improvements to intersection

The town said they plan to upgrade traffic signals

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – South Hadley residents say they’re concerned about driver and pedestrian safety at a busy intersection in town.

Thursday night, at a meeting in Town Hall, residents said improvements need to be made where routes 202 and 33 intersect.

The town said they plan to upgrade traffic signals, add push buttons for pedestrian crossings and remove the medians.

No word as to how much these improvements would cost, or when they would be implemented.
