Cigarettes stolen from Springfield convenience store

Springfield Police told 22News two men jumped the counter at the City Zone Supermarket.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Cigarettes were stolen in a knife point store robbery in Springfield’s South End.

Springfield Police Sgt. John Carolan told 22News two men jumped the counter at the City Zone Supermarket at 770 Main Street and ran off with cartons of cigarettes.

The robbery happened around 5 a.m.
