PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) – Some Palmer residents will be without water for the better part of the day Monday.

A planned shutdown of water service is scheduled from 8:00a.m. to 3:00p.m, as part of the water main replacement project.

Palmer resident James Lussier wasn’t happy about being without water for that extended period of time. “I mean how do you fill up your toilet without water? You know what I mean. Normally my kids are there, where I got like seven people in the house. You got to have a flushable toilet.”

The shutdown will affect all homes on the Thorndike Water District.
