CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – By now we know that hell raising sorority sisters can be every bit as boisterous as fraternity brothers. Which only makes life delightfully miserable again for their neighbors, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne.

“Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” is actually more of a remake than a sequel. But it’s just as hilarious as the original, thanks to that rising star Chloe Grace Moretz showing her wild side. It would have been foolish not to invite back super cool frat party guru Zack Efron. But now the slightly more mature jock sees life differently, siding with Rogen and Byrne.

The writers of this rollicking R rated screenplay bring on plenty of bikini clad co-eds to harass poor Rogen. You get the impression he suffers through every indignity just to remain on the right side of his perpetually flustered and pregnant wife, Rose Byrne.

The picture straddles the lewd and the crude without much finesse, which is just fine with the millennial audience along with a slightly older movie reviewer.

“Neighbors 2, Sorority Rising” never quite reaches the top of the line, but does pretty well posting a crowd pleasing 3 stars.

As for future sequels, Rogen and Byrne will live quietly for a while, since their next generation of tormentors are probably still in high school.
