BOSTON (AP) — Attorney General Maura Healey is hitting the road this week, stopping in the nation’s capital before heading to Israel for a weeklong visit.

Healey will stop at the White House on Tuesday to join state and local officials from across the country to talk about gun violence prevention with Vice President Joe Biden. Healey is planning to discuss efforts Massachusetts has made.

On Wednesday, the state’s top law enforcement officer heads to Israel to join a delegation of seven other attorneys general.

The delegation is scheduled to meet with government, justice, law enforcement and municipal leaders during the trip to learn about the nation’s social, technology, economic, justice and cybersecurity issues.
