EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – The town of Easthampton was a great place to find bargains Saturday during the annual town wide tag sale.
Crowds of visitors looking for something special that didn’t cost a lot browsed through the backyards in neighborhood throughout the town of Easthampton.
Anne Biscoe has plans for the money she received from her tag sale. She told 22News, “Most they’re for a dollar, fill up a bag for a dollar, but all the money is going for relay for life.”
Samantha Wright, from Easthampton, said, It’s been great it’s successful because everyone has a smile on their face. I’ve had a great conversation with neighbors, the folks coming into the neighborhood to visit.”
Town wide tag sales are becoming more popular in Western Massachusetts. The town of South Hadley has been a Columbus Day weekend destination for decades.
