Farmer pays tribute to Prince with field art

The idea came up over coffee one day

(KFYR) – A farmer in Edgely, North Dakota has created a unique tribute to the late singer Prince, mowing the star’s famous sign into a field with his tractor.

Former plane manufacturer Gene Hanson said that the idea came up over coffee one day, but that he had no idea it would go viral so quickly.

“It came up in a discussion at our coffee group one morning and the logo came up and I brought it up on the Internet. I made a copy of it and I thought you know, this might be a good one to try,” said Hanson.

The North Dakota farmer also said that he is a big Merle Haggard fan, and that the country singer may be his next project.
