16 car break-ins reported in Longmeadow

All of the cars were unlocked, police say

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Longmeadow police are reminding town residents to lock their car doors, following a series of recent car break-ins.

According to the department, they have been called to investigate more than 16 break-ins in the past week. Most of these have taken place in the Converse Street/Laurel Street area, as well as the section of Longmeadow Street (Route 5) near the Connecticut state line.

It is believed that the break-ins all took place between the hours of 12:30 A.M. and 3:30 A.M.

In each case, cars were parked in driveways, and left unlocked.
