FITCHBURG, Mass. (WWLP) – There is a new warning Saturday night about a dangerous batch of heroin circulating in a north-central Massachusetts city.
Two people died and several more overdosed in Fitchburg. Police say the deadly heroin overdoses happened Friday, but six more people overdosed during an eight-hour span on Saturday.
The Worcester County district attorney’s office sent an email warning people who are addicted to heroin, and warning their families and friends to be aware that heroin on the streets of Fitchburg this weekend could cause an overdose death.
