PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — It appears as though New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and the NFL Players Union may be gearing up to once again fight his 4-game suspension.

Brady hasn’t spoken publicly since an appeals court reinstated his suspension stemming from the Deflategate controversy, but his legal team has brought Theodore B. Olson on board.

The lawyer has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court dozens of times, including during Bush v. Gore. Most recently, Olson helped Apple fight the FBI over the San Bernardino shooter’s iPhone.

The Players Union has also asked that the appeal window be extended. Brady would have to either take his case to the full Federal Appeals Court or the U.S. Supreme Court to fight the suspension.
