(KSHB) Thieves have ripped a 14-foot Royals player off of a Kansas City billboard.
An employee of Lamar Advertising noticed it was missing at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
“I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I’ve never had this happen,” Lamar’s Bob Fessler said.
Like hitting a homer, it wasn’t easy. Five bolts held the 14-foot tall, 150 pound 3-D Royals player in place. Thieves cut those at his legs, arms and torso. It was definitely a team effort getting him down.
