CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee Mayor Richard Kos launched the “Buy Chicopee Now” campaign on Thursday. The city is offering incentives to make buying a home there more affordable.
“We have the housing stock,” Kos said. “We have the variety and the assortment which can appeal to just about any type of taste and need.” Deborah Dabrowski told 22News that living in Chicopee “is safe. It’s quiet and if you need an ambulance they’re here right away. It doesn’t take long, and I’ve needed it a couple of times.”
The organization is made up of bankers and realtors and offers services at a discount to qualifying purchasers. They’ll host a community fair and open houses this weekend.
