(NBC News) Republicans Ted Cruz and John Kasich have cut a deal to help one another in three big upcoming primaries, to cut into Donald Trump’s delegate haul.
Trump savaged his opponents for their desperate alliance to deny him the delegates he needs to secure the Republican nomination.
“They are colluding, and I’m happy, it shows how weak they are it shows how pathetic they are,” Trump said.
In Oregon and New Mexico Kasich will take on Trump alone, increasing his chance to deny Trump delegates. In Indiana on May 3rd, it’s Cruz’s turn.
Avid Trump supporters are furious, with Trump claiming the alliance proves he’s right about the Washington establishment.
