SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Museums at the Springfield Quadrangle have become the go-to alternatives during school vacation.
The Quadrangle programming including this weekend’s Earth day Fair have attracted families from across the state. A mother from Needham said she combined the Museum programs with a trip to Six Flags.
Rodney Davis of Springfield and his kids spent a rewarding day at the Quadrangle. “Absolutely, this library is a pretty good place, we’re here for the circus after this, and they’ve got one in West Springfield.”
Star Wars Jedi Knight training and a performance by the Pumpernickel Puppets are two of the creative attractions the museums hope will appeal to children home from school for this entire week.
