BOSTON (WWLP) – More than 32,000 athletes are taking part in the 121st Running of the Boston Marathon on Monday, and chances are, you may know someone running. If you cannot be there in person, there are ways to track the progress of a runner you know.

You can check a runner’s status online through the Boston Athletic Association website at raceday.baa.org.

The Boston Athletic Association and AT&T have also set up an official Boston Marathon App, which is available in the iTunes and Google Play stores.
