MILFORD, Conn. (AP) – Police say two men were hospitalized after a head-on crash on the highway early Saturday morning.
The Hartford Courant reports emergency personnel responded to the two-car crash around 2:20 a.m. on Interstate 95 northbound just before exit 36.
Both drivers were trapped inside their vehicles.
Emergency crews used the Jaws of Life to remove one driver. He suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
The other driver was also taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital. His condition wasn’t immediately known.
Police haven’t released the drivers’ identities. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
