Break-in reported at Sunderland Market

SUNDERLAND, Mass. (WWLP) – Police in Sunderland are searching for a burglary suspect who broke into the Sunderland Market in the Squire Village Plaza, early Thursday morning.

According to the Sunderland Police Facebook page, officers were called to the Sunderland Market on Amherst Road around 2:20 a.m. for a report of a break-in.

Police released photos from security video of the alleged suspect; which show light skinned man with short dark hair and facial hair. He was wearing a red hoodie and gray fleece, camouflage pants, blue sneakers with white soles, and blue backpack.

It is not known at this time what or how much was stolen. If you have any information on the suspect, you’re asked to call the on-duty Sunderland Police Officer at by 413-625-8200.
