5th Annual Great Holyoke Brick Race

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) – Holyoke is seeing a resurgence of art, music, theater and dance thanks to new entrepreneurs who are revitalizing the city’s Arts and Innovation District. Professor Emeritus, Dean Nimmer (Dr. Dean the Art Doctor) author of the books, Art from Intuition and Creating Abstract Art, Cartoonist Gary Hallgren and Jeff Bianchine, Creative Economy Coordinator for the city of Holyoke.

The Great Holyoke Brick Race
Events like Celebrate Holyoke that happens in August and the Holyoke Winter Carnival in February attracted more than 20,000 people to downtown for food, live music, art and all manner of entertainment.

Coming up on Saturday, June 4, Holyoke will host the 5th annual Great Holyoke Brick Race – the only race of its kind in the world!
