Monson issues Monday parking ban

Vehicles parked in violation may be removed

MONSON, Mass. (WWLP) – In preparation for another round of April snow, the town of Monson has issued a parking ban for Monday, April 4th.

From 6 A.M. Monday to 1 A.M. Tuesday, April 5th, no on-road parking will be allowed in Monson. Parking will be allowed on Main Street between Hampden Avenue and Washington Street; additionally, businesses that require on-street parking may contact the Monson Police Department for permission, which will be granted unless public safety is a risk.

Police remind residents that vehicles found to be parked in violation of the parking ban may be removed, and the owner or operator of that vehicle will be responsible for any charges or expenses incurred by removal and storage of a vehicle.
