South Hadley PD searching for an armed bank robbery suspect

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – South Hadley Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed the Chicopee Savings Bank on Willimansett Street.

According to the South Hadley Police Facebook page, the robbery happened around 12:25 p.m. Monday at 32 Willimansett Street. The suspect was wearing a gray hoodie, a black mask, and holding a handgun when he demanded the money from the teller.

No word on how much money was stolen. Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man, about 5’3”-5’5” tall, skinny, and possibly in his 20’s.
