Mayor Morse announces acting police chiefs for Holyoke

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Mayor Alex Morse announced who will soon serve as Holyoke’s acting police chiefs. Mayor Morse named Captain Denise Duguay and Captain Manuel Febo, both seasoned veterans of the police department, who have a combined 40 years of experience in public service and police work in Holyoke.

They will serve while Police Chief James Neiswanger attends ten weeks of training at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. During the news conference, Mayor Morse also announced a $50,000 dollar state grant that will support community policing in Holyoke.
