CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee Police believe they know who broke into Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen over the weekend.

According to the Chicopee Police Facebook page, the suspect will be summonsed to court for breaking and entering and larceny charges. The person’s identity will be released at a later date.

Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen and Pantry Executive Director Andrea Marion told 22News money from the public donation box, a digital camera, and some other valuables were taken in the break-in. Marion said she was “disheartened that someone would steal from an organization that is dedicated only to serving those in need.”
