Ludlow murder suspect arrested in New York

Pesquera will be extradited from New York in the coming days.

LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – An arrest has been made in connection with the March 13th murder of 26-year-old Larry Santiago Jr. in Ludlow.

Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni’s office announced Tuesday that 20-year-old Jorge Concepcion-Pesquera of Springfield was arrested in New York on a felony murder warrant. He’s scheduled to be extradited in the next couple of days.

Santiago was shot outside the Open Door Cafe on Cady Street. The district attorney said Pesquera knew Santiago, and that there was never any threat to residents.
