“ENUFF” forum held in Springfield to help parents

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The non-profit organization, “ENUFF” held a community forum at the Rebecca Johnson School Tuesday night. “ENUFF” stands for Empowering, Nurturing, Uniting for Families.

Their goal is to help parents recognize signs their kids could be heading for trouble, and let them know about available programs and resources.

Veronica McNair, a coordinator at “ENUFF”, told 22News, “There are after-school programs, but there’s not enough that help children stay off the streets.  Some of the children that are at-risk are ones that feel they’ve “aged-out” of what the After School programs have to offer.”

“ENUFF” helps parent’s access resources to keep their kids out of gangs. They’ve set up a “Community Voice Box” where parents can make comments or suggestions for what they need.
