8th annual success skills program held at Chicopee Comp

Students met with local employers from nearby businesses

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee high school students put their skills to the test on Thursday in front of potential future employers.

The eighth annual success skills program was held at Chicopee comprehensive high school. Students met with local employers from nearby businesses and organizations, to discuss future employment after graduation.

Some students went through real interviews on Thursday, incorporating skills learned in their career center.

“We don’t see students form our career center regularly since they’re in front of them so their resumes, cover letters, some of those interviewing skills that they’re applying today, this is a culminating event from that training that they got.

The Success Skills program will be held again in May for students at Chicopee High School.
