(NBC News) Donald Trump could all but lock up the Republican nomination when Tuesday’s primary votes are tallied, or be derailed by Governor John Kasich in Ohio and Senator Marco Rubio in Florida.
Rubio hopes a good turnout can save him, but many voters said they were there for Trump.
“I want to see somebody tough, strong, a strong president,” said Carmen Borges of Miami.
Trump claims GOP leaders now accept that he will be the nominee.
“The biggest people in the party are calling,” Trump claimed Tuesday.
Still, Kasich could take all of Ohio’s delegates, which would leave Trump short of the delegates he needs to lock the nomination.
