Nothing found during search of Connecticut River in South Hadley

26-year-old Nathan Kermensky is still considered missing

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – Emergency crews have left the banks of the Connecticut River in South Hadley without finding anything.

At about 7 o’clock Sunday night, the parents of a missing Hadley man said they may have seen a body in the river. Crews were sent to the Redcliffe Canoe Club on Canal Street. Nothing was found.

South Hadley Fire Captain Jim Pula told 22News if they believed someone was in the water they would have called dive teams and a helicopter.

Hadley Police confirmed that they are still looking for 26 year old Nathan Kermensky. He was last seen January 29th. Police found his car with the keys inside, parked at El-Well State Park in Northampton, which is right by the river.
