TRUMBULL, Conn. (WTNH) – Trumbull police have cancelled an Amber Alert for a 7-year-old who was abducted around 4:30 Saturday morning.
Trumbull Police say 7-year-old Ariel Revello has been found and is safe. His father, Rodolfo Revello, is still at large and the search for him continues.
Trumbull Police believe Ariel Revello was taken from his Unity Road home after a violent domestic dispute. Around 4:30 a.m.,police were called to the home for a violent domestic dispute. They say the victim was assaulted in her bedroom after her estranged husband, 43-year-old Rodolfo Revello, forced his way into the home. Police say at one point, Rodolfo grabbed a knife, but his 17-year-old step-son was able to disarm him. Police say the victim was able to jump out of her bedroom window and hide in the yard to avoid further assault.
Police say Rodolfo took several thousand dollars worth of cash and jewelry from the victim’s rooms before waking his son, 7-year-old Ariel, and leaving the home with him.
Police say they left in a white 2015 Ford Transit cargo van with a plate number of C040379. They believe Revello is possibly heading for Bronx, NY.
Rodolfo is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’9″ tall, 190 pounds, bald, with brown eyes.
The victim was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
