Police: Several masked men robbed, pistol whipped man in his home

The victim is expected to be okay.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A man was pistol whipped during an overnight home invasion in Springfield.

It happened at 12:30am at 260 Canon Circle. Springfield Police Sgt. Clayton Roberson told 22News four to seven masked men entered the apartment and stole close to a thousand dollars in cash.

Sgt. Roberson told 22News the man in the apartment who was beaten with the gun was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay. No arrests have been at this time.
