Names of the children killed in an Orange fire released

The two children went to Fisher Hill School

ORANGE, Mass. (WWLP) – The names of the two children who were killed in a house fire in the Town of Orange this weekend has been released.

Northwestern District Attorney Spokeswoman Mary Carey told 22News that 6-year-old Leena Shea Ciolino and 8-year-old Victoria Rose Gaignard, both of Orange, died in Saturday’s fire at 36 Mechanic Street.

However, the Medical Examiner’s office has not officially identified the children.

The Superintendent of Schools in Orange confirmed Sunday night that those two children were a first grader and second grader at Fisher Hill School.

Three adults who were rescued from that home were taken to the hospital.

The home sustained heavy smoke, heat and water damage. Investigators are still trying to figure out what started the fire.
