SHELBURNE, Mass. (WWLP) – Shelburne firefighters had to set up a “water shuttle” to get water to a burning garage on Mercy Anderson Road Monday night.

A Shelburne firefighter told 22News that a detached garage caught fire at 180 Mercy Anderson Road at 7:20 p.m. No residential buildings were in any danger.

Mercy Anderson Road is a narrow dirt road, so several fire trucks were staged below on the paved part of the road, pumping water to firefighters at the burning garage.

No one was hurt. No cause has been listed for the fire.
