SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – On average, Netflix costs about $10 per month for a subscription to their movie database. But recently, hackers have been stealing log-in credentials and selling them on the black market for much lower prices.

These accounts are gathered through malware-type technology. Tech experts say that when you start clicking on things that you wouldn’t normally, you run into trouble.

“It’s not a Netflix issue, it is some guys out there they made a look alike software, which comes in your computer and it pops up. When you click, it doesn’t do anything to your computer but those guys make money,” said Tom Banerjee of Control Alt Delete in Springfield.

To get rid of these pop-ups, run a software that helps clean your computer.
