Heart health lecture aids those with irregular heartbeats

Baystate Medical Center schedules these lectures every Sunday in February

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Sundays in February have become the traditional time to learn how you can help your heart to work properly.

Baystate Medical Center launched its annual Heart Health Lecture Series on Sunday, at their Health Education Center in Holyoke. After all, February is Heart Health Month. Sunday’s subject was what to do if you have an irregular heartbeat.

Some people who attended told 22News, they’ve benefited from lectures they’ve attended during previous years.

Crystal Zelasao from Feeding Hills said, “It’s very informative, I learned a lot about heart disease, women’s health, heart health, and I’ve been rewarded for it.”

Dick Ricci of Easthampton said, “I’ve been told I have irregular heartbeat, and I want to make sure I learn a little bit more about my condition.”

Baystate Medical Center schedules these healthy heart lectures every Sunday in February at noon, at their Education Denter, located at 361 Whitney Avenue in Holyoke.
