Amtrak, Peter Pan, Logan Int’l, Bradley Int’l posting cancellations during winter storm

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The winter storm has affected travel across the country.

Parts of the east coast are covered in snow and it’s impacting trains, planes, and buses across the country.

Trains

Amtrak service has been modified.

Northeast Regional services between Washington, D.C. and Boston, and Keystone Service between Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and New York will continue this weekend, but many of those trains’ schedules have been modified.

According to the Amtrak website, Passengers are being contacted if their trip will change in any way.


 

Airports

According to Massport, more than 100 flights in and out of Boston have been canceled.

22News contacted Bradley International Airport and found that 18 flights have been canceled and 5 flights delayed so far. The destinations included metropolitan areas across the Northeast and Southeast United States.

We do know that if you’re flying to Washington, D.C., Charlotte, North Carolina, or Richmond, Virginia, your flight has been canceled. No planes will be traveling to or from those areas Saturday.


 

Buses

There will be no bus service going south from Springfield on Peter Pan bus lines.

Normal service won’t resume until the storms are over.

Customers have been notified through email if their service was affected; they can also call 1-800-343-9999 to find out if their trip has been cancelled.

If your trip was canceled, you’ll have up to 3 days to get your ticket reissued for free.
