(NECN) If nothing else, a delivery issue plaguing subscribers to the Boston Globe has proven just how much its reporters and editors love their paper.
Massachusetts’ largest daily publication switched to a new delivery company on Monday, reporting on Thursday that it had caused deliveries to readers to be late, with some not receiving the paper at all.
With the issues persisting, dozens of staff members volunteered to spend the hours between midnight and dawn delivering the Sunday edition.
“A key part of being a reporter is having people see your work, so that’s a big part of the reason why so many of us are volunteering tonight, because we just want people to see our journalism,” crime reporter Maria Cramer said.
