All lanes open on Mass Pike after car fire in Palmer

PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) – All the lanes on the Massachusetts Turnpike eastbound in Palmer were re-opened Monday evening, after that whole side of the Turnpike was temporarily shut down because of an SUV fire.

The burning SUV was in the breakdown lane of the highway, near the Brimfield town line. According to Massachusetts State Police Media Relations, there were no reported injuries.

The lanes were re-open by 4:20 p.m.
