GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A jackknifed tractor trailer reduced Interstate 91 down to a single lane in Greenfield Tuesday morning. The accident was on the southbound side of the highway, prior to Exit 27.
According to Massachusetts State Police, there were no injuries reported in the crash, and all lanes of the highway have since re-opened as they towed the truck away.
It has been a difficult morning commute for drivers throughout western Massachusetts. Drivers on the Mass Pike eastbound between Exits 2 and 3 are being delayed by two truck accidents in the Berkshire County town of Becket. Numerous other spinouts and crashes have been reported elsewhere in the region as well.
