Hadley Police searching for an armed robbery suspect

The suspect stole about $160 and cigarettes

hadley gas station policeHADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – There was a large police presence outside a gas station on Route 9 in Hadley, Tuesday night. Our 22News crew was there as police surrounded the area.

According to the Hadley Police Department, an armed robbery took place at the Phillips 66 Gas Station, at around 4:50 p.m.

Police are searching for a Hispanic looking man, 6 feet tall, medium build, and in his mid-40’s with a greying mustache. The suspect also has tattoos on both hands.

The suspect showed a revolver type handgun to the clerk and demanded cash and cigarettes, police said. He then left the store with about $160 and 5 packs of cigarettes.
