Car accidents reported across western Massachusetts

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The snow and sleet has created dangerous driving conditions across western Massachusetts Tuesday morning.

The weather has already caused a few car accidents.

Trooper Michael Andrews of the Springfield State Police Barracks told 22News two single car crashes occurred on I-91 early Tuesday morning. One car crashed near Exit 10 Northbound, the second car crashed near Exit 14 Northbound. Both accidents were minor and no one was hurt.

Wilbraham Police Dispatcher Anthony Gentile told 22News a single car crashed into a tree on Main Street in Wilbraham  around 6:00 AM. He said no one was hurt in the crash and all lanes of the road remain open.
